Works like a charm! This works like a charm! It's not fancy, but the images are clear and it does exactly what I needed it to do. We use it for tracing images to use as a part of scenery for shows. For as inexpensive as it was, I wasn't expecting too much. However, I am very pleased!5I bought ONLY to trace the outlines of pictures when I don't have to drawl the pictures myself. First use I was like "total junk". But THEN...First nothing but a blurry mess, even adjusting the zoom..still big blob THEN I just moved the projector back 1-1 1/2 feet then bam!!! My image!!! For me it's perfect for what I want. Better than spending 280$ on the other one. Tips! Don't give up, try moving it closer and further from your target before even worrying about the zoom. Next make sure that your subject and the projector are level. Mine wasn't in pictures below and my hubby has Huge football legs and on the picture shows chicken legs. For a basic 32$ can't go wrong. I'm using a led 60 w bulb my hubby put in.5All around BESTbefore I bought the item I read the reviews and was a little unsure, however I purchased it anyways. OH MY GOODNESS, the best BEST ever. Yes, it takes a few tries to get a picture in focus, very simple adjustments. because each picture you are trying to enlarge are all going to be different the focus is always going to be different. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT, even my 10 year old loves to use this product. definitely a WINNER. I use my for Girl Scouts, school projects, work and fundraising signs ... simply the best and best price.5It isn't perfect, and I didn't expect it to be but ...I purchased this today at Michael's after reading the reviews here. I had an idea of what I was purchasing since I've used a large (and much more expensive) Artograph Prism Projector before. I remember that projector being blurry and difficult to focus so for only twenty bucks, what do I have to lose by trying this little EZ Tracer?Setting it all up: I had an Ottlite CFL bulb in the house so I popped that into the projector and then plugged in the electric cord which is about 6 feet long. Find a fairly dark room in the house. I used the den since we have blackout curtains in it. The EZ Tracer is very lightweight so I wedged it between books to keep it in place! I slipped the photo under it and taped up my 14x17 inch pure white Canson drawing paper. The square hole in the bottom is 4x4 inches. I'll be resizing my photos to fit that from now on!I'm posting several pictures of the images I created with it today to hopefully give you an idea of what this projector will do for you. I noticed that the center of the image is focused and the edges blur. It isn't perfect, and I didn't expect it to be but I'm happy with it!4It's Perfect with the Right Light Bulb!!I almost didn't purchase this projector due to people complaining about the image quality being poor. I decided to take a leap and bought it, I tried several bulbs we had at home already and was pretty disappointed with the brightness and image quality. The next day I went out and bought the EXACT bulb the manufacturer recommended.... AWESOME results! I'm wanting to copy a 4" x 4" picture into a 3' x 4' image so I can make it into an applique quilt for a wall hanging... it did the job and cheaper then taking the picture to the printer. I paid about $8.00 for a double pack of bulbs. Highly recommend!!5Faulty and unusableGarbage - I inserted the bulb (barely screwed in, bad fit) and the power switch was faulty - I tried to focus and even at max twist of lens only got blurry image --bulb flickered - when I tried to screw the bulb to fit better, it broke off in my hand, leaving the base stuck in the socket - not worth trying to return - buyer beware!1Get the brightest LED bulb that you can.I have been able to use this to sketch out my paintings and murals. The image is clear enough to give me the outlines that I need. I put a 100 watt equivalent LED bulb in it, and the images are bright and sharp enough to work with. I have even placed my phone beneath the hole in the bottom to project the image on the screen (at maximum brightness). A great little tool for the price.5Don't give up on it!I was going to return this artgraph EZ Tracer! Had it in the box to go back, then I decided to try it one more time. Sure glad I did. I've learnt how to use it. And now I love it. I print my pics out 4x5 and I good to go.5Personally i love it it works great the only thing is i ...Personally i love it it works great the only thing is i used different bulbs to see a better image and the least i use was what they say it takes but if you use a 40 watt bulb it is clear as day room does got to be really dark so can only do it at night but its great.play around with it and try different bulbs you may find out you like it too5Works great, but the original needs to be small (4'x4")Initially, I thought that this would only produce a very blurry image, but then, quite by accident, I discovered that the projector needs to be more than two feet away from the wall that you're projecting on. Eureka! The pictures became crisp enough to read lettering.Well worth the money. :-)5
